Magellan, the cat behind Magellan Coffee Roasters, passed away unexpectedly earlier this year. He was the kind of cat who approached life with curiosity and enthusiasm — especially when it came to treats. His philosophy was simple: he would try anything once.

That adventurous attitude became the inspiration for this coffee journey — exploring new origins, new flavors, and new ways to experience coffee from around the world.

While Magellan is no longer here, his spirit still guides what I do. I continue roasting coffee in his honor, celebrating that same curiosity and willingness to try something new.

And of course, George is still here, making sure quality control is taken very seriously — especially when treats are involved.
